I've never read any GH but I bet the great lady would be horrified. I think the journalist meant that it was quite a bodice-ripping romance in respect of some very bad behaviour and quite macho stuff from the hero (fair enough - he IS in a mountain rescue team and I have experienced at first hand the amazing things these guys and girls have to do). Except it's thong-ripping, rather than bodice ripping and the hero drives off brooding in a Range Rover rather than on a white horse, listening to Meat Loaf!
