Calm…

January 9, 2007 | 9 Comments

I’m in sore need of calming thoughts at the moment, for a variety of reasons. So I’ve decided to post some pics of a place I go to that almost always makes me feel soothed.
My daughter’s not well again and has to go back to uni this week (not the way she is, I hope.) Other *stuff* is going on that won’t be resolved for a few weeks and I also had aone of the vilest, most disturbing dreams ever. Ms B reckons it was just a horrible metaphor for some unresolved business or it could be hormones I s’pose.
In the meantime, a client told me they loved my techie website copy this morning and I managed to get the words ‘Peter Schmeichel’ and the phrases ‘You dirty girl. Put a pound in the swear box,’ and ‘IT infrastructure and client emulation’ into my writings today.

Anyway, here’s the lakes in early October and mid-December. Enjoy. First off a walk in Eskdale. Moira, if you’re looking, in this is where Mr B disappeared to while we had our cakes and tea.

Second is Grasmere, December 2006.

Hope you feel more chilled, as I do now.

I just adore…

This post has been censored but here’s my muse: Now tell me, who could ever think this gorgeous guy in the cravat could be such a tyrant?

Off for a cold shower.

Love, P x

PS This site is now receiving around 200 hits a day and had over 450 on Dec 30th. Not sure if it’s because people are on holiday or some mysterious VOD-factor, but it’s cool.
