Why…

March 6, 2007 | 1 Comment

…do my books take nine months to write, almost all of it angst-filled, when other authors seem to produce them in nine weeks?

After that, I’d better let you know what I’m wrestling with right now. Well, I have an novel idea and opening on the go; :) Last night I wrote a short story - not sure why and not sure who might use it yet, but I loved writing it.

For the rest of the week I’m working on non-fiction articles for a couple of publications. I’m visiting a magnificent garden near Stratford on Avon tomorrow for a feature I’m writing for the Birmingham Post (one of the UK’s biggest regional newspapers) and I’m really looking forward to it.
Last night I watched ER and so without the slightest excuse, I thought I’d show you this (not that I have a fetish of course…)

A Girly Night In

March 5, 2007 | Comments

I’ve blogged about this before but it’s getting close and I’m really looking forward to it so…

Birmingham Library Service have very kindly invited me to take part in A Girly Night In at Kings Norton Library on March 22nd from 6-7pm. I’m going to be reading from both Decent Exposure and Wish You Were Here and chatting about writing romance and commercial women’s fiction. The evening is totally devoted to fun and relaxation and I’d love to meet you there, if you can make it.
