Big Print

July 6, 2007

Yesterday I heard that the large print rights to Wish You Were Here have been bought by Ulverscroft , the leading world-wide publishers of large print books. I’m absolutely delighted as it means my new book is going to be more accessible to readers with visual impairments or who just prefer a larger typeface.
Off to the RNA Conference on Sunday then the Pure Passion Day in Cumbria next week.

And I’m in love with the hero of my current wip. This morning he was (half) wearing a wetsuit and it was *hell* trying to describe him. Have persuaded Mr B to put his shorty on over the weekend for research purposes (he windsurfs and sails) He’ll kill me for telling you that. Have tried (and failed) to find a pic I like of Keanu Reeves plus wetsuit in Point Break so this will have to do, I’m afraid.

So is this the good news you had to keep secret, or is there still more good news to come?

And does this mean your book’s more likely to be acquired by libraries?

Laura - delighted though I am at this news, my Big news is something else entirely. ;)
