Meg Cabot's blog suggested approaching them as you would if you had to eat an elephant ... start with the tail and slowly munch your way through, piece by piece. One day, you'll find you've swallowed the whole thing. That book is published this week and people seem to be enjoying it so far. In the end, I did eat the elephant though I really didn't like the taste at the time!
