I am sorry about drip-feeding info on my ‘Big’ news but I can’t contain myself any longer and I’ve been given permission by the screen agent to say a little bit. A major US studio has offered for the TV and movie rights to DE. We have the contracts now and I’m going to sign them. Reading that sentence back, I can hardly believe it’s true.

I promise to tell you who and what (not that I know agreat deal more) when it is all finally done and dusted. I hope you aren’t disappointed by the news after all the build-up!

If I thought 2006 was exciting, then 2007 has been WILD. I also wonder if I would ever have started writing fiction if it hadn’t been for North & South and Richard Armitage.    Here’s hoping against hope that the movie actually gets made. BUT this is a very important first step forward.
   I for one think it would make a really good movie.
