My agent sent over my manuscript to my new ed yesterday so maybe that’s why I was awake from 4-6am this monring. Or it could have been the ideas buzzing round my head. Or the cheese I had on my chilli con carne for supper. Anyway, Mr B wasn’t amused. He had to get up for work at 5.30am and my tossing and turning woke him up long before the alarm.
Can I just say: Yesterday, went to see my amazing and brilliant uncle who’s very seriously ill (but feeling a bit better for the moment). I was worried about making him feel worse by being crass or tactless but actually, I had a great - and very entertaining - time, as I always do in his company. If there’s someone you should be visiting - don’t wait, go and see them NOW. You’ll know who he is next year because I’ve dedicated my next book to him and I took along the ms and Amazon blurb so he could see. He’s an award-winning Professor with a string of honorary degrees and he was very amused to have a romance dedicated to him!

Glad you got to spend some time with him–and I bet he was thrilled with the dedication!
Nell Dixon Says:
I just got my edits for Blue Remembered Heels. Sounds like you had a nice visit.
Rosy Thornton Says:
Congrats on the sending off off the ms - hope your ed loves it!!
Your post touched a chord - Mike’s lovely uncle (whom we didn’t visit nearly enough) died on Friday night.
