At last! I’m on my way with my new book and it’s such a relief. I don’t know how long it will last but whew, I’m feeling the love a bit more now.
If you’re interested in weird things, I’ve put a new photo up on my ‘About’ page which was taken by a lovely man who won the Newspaper Society’s Weekly Press Photographer of the Year 2007. His pic shows me hard at work in my usual writing spot. I like to create my books wearing full make-up, while wearing a tight pink top and breathing in very very hard.
PS Has anyone any thoughts on the &**!!!* ending to the Robin Hood series?

Hi there 2008.
I’ve been feeling a touch of the New Year blues lately, partly because, over the holiday, I’ve had a bad back and had to have some physio/injections for it (yuk). Hopefully it’s on the mend now. I have also been having a real tussle with my new book, ISHBM, but that seems to be going much better today too. I’ve had no flashes of inspiration for it, it’s just been a good old pruning/rewriting slog. Now I can only hope a beautiful butterfly is emerging from the chrysalis of the first draft…
I’m looking forward to three books coming out in 2008 - two ‘old favourites’ in new formats and my new Little Black Dress in August. In the meantime, the Thai editon of Decent Exposure has just been published.

And I’ve finally succumbed to Facebook so please come along and say hello to me there.
Happy New Year!
