I’m editing It Should Have Been Me so off the web loop at the moment. I firmly believe that any ‘magic’ really happens in the revising and rewriting of a first draft. (That’s what I’m hoping anyway!)

Loved this bit of the RNA party report:
“Last year’s winner, Phillipa Ashley, then made the room laugh by telling how some of her prize money had been spent on a vintage camper van so that she could experience at first hand what she was putting her current heroine through. After the research holiday, she said, the first thing she did was to head for her PC and pack the poor girl off to a five-star hotel!”
