Head down. Work work work… until Thursday when:
Ashley and Dixon, the new LBD double act at Burntwood Library, Staffordshire at 2pm.
Drop by if you’re in the area… there might even be a cup of coffee and a biccie in it.
LOL. Jess’s comment has got me thinking…
What do you think? Gentle lady sleuths or kick-ass cops?

And of course, every female crimefighter needs a hunky but slightly inferior henchman… (I’ll have Lewis, thanks though I wouldn’t refuse to make Martin Shaw a bacon butty either.)

Jessica Raymond Says:
You sound like a BBC crime-fighting duo! Have a lovely time.
Nell Dixon Says:
ROFL! Remind me to tell you about me meeting Martin Shaw. Hmm, have to think about the cop shows.
Phillipa Says:
You lucky devil! I really like Martin Shaw- he’s better now he’s more mature…
Charlotte Says:
Surely you want Hathaway, Lawrence Fox’s character? Although he is alarmingly tall in real life…
Jude Says:
I see you and Nel more as Charlie’s Angels!FWIW I always loved Cagney. She had feisty sass and I totally wanted to be her. The other one was always moaning about Harvey, her chubby hubbie.
These days I’ve turned into a Taggart groupie. Funny how you can totally believe all those Glasgow ‘murduuuurs’ and yet you kinda don’t believe Midsommer ones cos how many villagers can you kill off and still hold a parish council meeting!
Have a fabby time at the library. I know you will Angels.
Jessica Raymond Says:
My mum loves Martin Shaw! And whenever The Bloke has a day off I always find him watching The Professionals with Little Frog.
Geeky trivia fact: they film Midsomer Murders all around where I live and the first episode of the new series was filmed in the town where The Bloke works.
Phillipa Says:
Jude
Charlie’s Angels. Oh yeah. Just call me Demin Moore and check out my abs.
Jess – I do rather enjoy an ep of The Professionals.. unlike you I remember it first time round. Oh, we thought they were hard…
Bodie! Doyle!
Christina Phillips Says:
Oh yeah I loved The Professionals!!! First time around for me too. Although I was very young at the time… *cough*
