I had yesterday off and it was fantastic. Not only because I had lunch with Nell and Liz but because I went to see The Feeling in Wolverhampton. If they’re not cool, I don’t care, they are AMAZING live. If you want a cure for dreary days, job worries and writing blues, go see them.
Highlights?
Every moment but especially their version of Take on Me - and we wrinklies were among the few who remember the original.
Also Dan G-S literally diving into the crowd – without bouncers – and surfing over everyone’s heads from stage to back of the hall. Then he re-emerged in the front row of the balcony and sang a ballad.
This pic is from Smeely in The Feeling gallery, showng him surfing at another gig. I hope she or he doesn’t mind me linking to it.

I’ve been a bit down over the whole writing/publishing thing for quite a while now but this morning I had one of the most inspirational and encouraging messages ever from a 16-yr-old reader. I’ll share it with you tomorrow, if I may.
Now back to THE book, with a vengeance!
