Just got back from a long, long lunch with Nell and Liz. Over three hours of talking writing and books – and I got Nell to be the first person to sign my copy of Loves Me, Loves Me Not, the RNA anthology. Hoping to get lots more signatures on Thursday night at the RNA party.
I drove home through the Shropshire countryside, bowling along in the winter sun. Bliss. If only every day could be like this.

Will (somebody scrape me off the floor)
Late last night, after a slightly crappy day and half-a-bottle of wine, I looked on the Lifetime movie website and found they’d posted all the calendar shots and lots of movie stills from 12 Men of Christmas/Decent Exposure.
It’s so great to see the story and characters you imagined in your head and lived with day in, day out for months and years, come to Techicolour life. I stayed up until two am, looking at the pictures. I really hadn’t though that any of my ideas or story would remain, because a movie is a movie and a book is a book but it seems I might be surprised.
All 12 shots from the calendar are on the Lifetime site and lots more movie stills, but here are a few. if you’ve read the book, I hope you recognise them.

Thanks to fellow LBD author, Janet Gover, I just found out that all LBDs are available on your Kindle from www.Amazon.com.
That means that you can download any LBD instantly from the site. I’ve got new US editions of all my books coming out next year but if you can’t wait until then, click here.
I must go. I’m interviewing an ex-SAS officer over a cappuccino later and already feeling twitchy.
But I’ve got Nell and Liz for a more relaxed coffee/lunch on Monday and almost a whole day to talk about writing. Bliss.

Reasons to be cheerful on a chilly November Monday:
1. I’ve been furiously writing and the finishing straight of a ‘dirty’ draft is in sight (if I can keep off Facebook.)
2. I got my ticket for the RNA Winter Party next week and am off to meet all my writer friends and see my daughter.
3. I’m meeting Nell and Liz for a writerly lunch on Monday.
4. I am trying not to Get Too Excited about the fact that 12 MEN is airing in under four weeks time. I’ve now heard one of the songs and found out that the music has been composed by David Lawrence of High School Musical 2 fame and edited by singer, Fay Aiana.
4. I found out that a trailer of 12 MEN has been aired on Lifetime but I can’t see it! Actually, that’s not a reason to be cheerful, it’s a reason to be frustrated and want to move temporarily to the US.
If anyone spots it, ahem, on You Tube or anywhere on the web, please let me know. Pretty please…
5. I’ve also found out the names of some more of the 12 MEN (see below.

Stephen Huszar who plays Jason
