Book and movie reviews

Hey… I almost forgot. I’m still a writer – just to remind me, I just got a lovely review of It Should Have Been Me here.
What really made me smile about this review is that the reader was so in tune with the story. It’s always a thrill when someone understands exactly what you’re trying to say.
For those of you who aren’t going to be able to see 12 MEN OF CHRISTMAS on Saturday evening (and that’s me too, until I get my author copy) here’s a new interview with Kristin and fab clip from the movie which was on The View yesterday. You need to watch a very quick ad then scroll through to the picture of Kristin Chenoweth. The clip shows the crackling chemistry between Will and EJ (Emma) and I love the writer’s dialogue.
And finally, I got my name in Variety yesterday which is very surreal … in fact my whole life is surreal right now.
Never mind, after Saturday night, my life will return to normal and I can start wrapping pressies and writing cards ready for a little event called Christmas.
A bum search

Whoever arrived at this blog, searching for ‘Richard Armitage’s b*m’, I’m afraid you won’t find it here.
However, I have no problem responding to a request – in a tasteful way, naturally!
It’s a crisp December day outside – frosty and bright, which is so refreshing after the days of rain and gloom throughout November. I don’t know if the change in weather has cleared my head too, but I just had some lightbulb moments about one aspect of my wip (which I’m editing right now.) Sometimes, you need to actively think about solutions to plot problems but just as often, the ‘answer’ comes to you when you’re least expecting it.
I was brushing my teeth, in fact, when it hit me. (That sounds like the opening to a novel.)
The difference all comes to down to character motivation, of course. It always does.
