Today, I’m blogging about My First Sale for Dear Author.
And I was really happy to get home and find I had a four flame review from Amy at My Overstuffed Bookshelf.
But whew, what happened to the past ten days?
We arrived home from the Lakes only to flit straight off for a weekend away with Ms Bennet – including a visit to the narrowboat Lucky Duck. Ms B’s friends live permanently on board the Duck with their ship’s cat, Lyra.
We sat in the saloon eating hot greengage tarts and enjoying tea made with a whistling kettle on the cast iron stove. It was all very Swallows and Amazons and I was like a kid with a new toy.
I have pics if I ever get time to download and post them but things have been so hectic!
