Done – phew

After my motivational lunch with Nell and Liz last Monday, I finished my revised ms for IMP yesterday. I’m having the morning off to take my mum for a slap-up lunch at Marks & Spencer on the retail park. 🙂 It was her birthday last week and we gave her some vouchers – nothing lights up Grandma Bennet’s face like an M&S voucher!

Mr B gave me the Everyman Book Of Love Stories on Valentine’s Day, which I now have time to really enjoy. I read a disturbing and compelling story about jealousy and obsession by Margaret Attwood (at least, I think it was about jealousy and obsession…)

The day was made by my author copy of It Should Have Been Me arriving – and yes, I was very excited as usual. My mum is reading it now. She is always the first ‘real’ person to read it. I await her verdict with interest especially as she normally only ever reads sagas!
