Coffee, sizzling reviews, hot docs & contest winners
July 18, 2011
Yes, a real ‘eclectic’ mix today.
First I am going to a meeting of the Coffee Crew at lunchtime to talk over our writing plans and current wips. It’s great to have two other brains to bounce ideas off. Even if those brains are caffeinated (sorry Nell and Liz!) I shall get Liz and Nell to pick the 3 winners of PDFs of FEVER CURE for the Launch week contest – two from the blog comments and one from my newsletter subscribers.
I’ll also be continuing with the hot doctor nominations later this week when I welcome Berkeley Heat historical writer, Christina Phillips.
And I’ve had a sizzling review for Fever Cure from Bookhounds which is here. Mary, the reviewer said:
There are some serious sparks between the two and the erotic tension is palpable. It is wonderful to read a bit hotter than normal romance with an actual story mixed in with the sex.
I love Ashley’s writing and I am so glad that she has taken her newest story to a more sexy level. The characters are fun and well developed. Keira is like your best friend from college, you want her to find the right guy and have a life other than her work as a grade school teacher. Tom is not quite what I expected as a leading man, yes, he is described as the perfect man, but he has issues which makes him that much more interesting. I loved tension and how the story built to the perfect conclusion. Oh, and the English accents are icing on the cake!
