Wales, writing and rodents

November 27, 2007

We spent the weekend in North Wales at a lovely little hotel in the Conwy Valley and on Sunday we walked to gorgeous Aber Falls. Today, after finishing my edits, I’m going to turn out Miss Bennet’s room ready for her return from uni. There must be cobwebs in there by now.

On a writer-ly note, I’ve almost done the edits to Just Say Yes which has ended up at nearly 75K words, my longest book so far. I’ve also arranged a surreal trip next Easter as research for It Should Have been Me – I can’t wait to tell you more but Mr B and possibly Miss B are coming with me. I am also wondering if Decent Exposure will ever die as it has just been reviewed by Trashionista. Apart from the ending (!) I’m absolutely made up with the rest of the review.

Our rabbit, Smudge, seemes to have recovered from his brain illness. He’s quite old so any time we get with him now is a bonus. However, he has had rats invading his run and I’m afraid they have had to be despatched. Yuk. I left it all to my intrepid FIL.
