Cheap Trick

In the absence of any interesting new novel writing news, I’ve resorted to a cheap trick. Post a photo of a hot bloke with his shirt off. This has come about as a result of naming Five people you’d want on your side in a bar fight – a craze currently sweeping Facebook.

FWI, I chose:

1. Gene Hunt
2. Amy Winehouse
3. John Thornton (the BBC kung fu version)
4. Wolverine
5. Jimmy Nail (as Spender, the cooler-than-ice TV cop)

One of my friends chose Chris Evans. Chris Evans, I thought? Funny guy, pretty ginger hair, does a lot for charity but …in a fight. No way!

Then I saw the Chris Evans they meant. Oh. I see. That Chris Evans. How could I have missed him before? He’s one of the Fantastic Four, apparently. You bet…

   This cheap trick works for me every time. I’m always thrilled to see photos of gorgeous chaps.

   I have to say, I prefer this Chris Evans to the other one, to look at that is, the other one is funny.

   Chris Evans is also in Sunshine, in which he’s extremely good (as an actor, not just to look at!)
