Party time!

Party ticket – check.
Train ticket – check
Overnight bag packed – sort of check
Outfit planned (skirt, top and witchy boots) – check

An RNA Party is a serious business, you see. 🙂

I haven’t been to an RNA do since last November so I’m really excited about tomorrow night’s event – especially as I’m combining it with a stay with my daughter. I can’t wait to meet up with all my writer friends and meet my agent for a chat about current projects. We’re also going to raise (another) glass to all the exciting things that have happened this year.

I urge anyone who writes women’s fiction to join the RNA. It’s a very supportive network and an invaluable way of meeting editors, agents and fellow writers. And a excellent excuse to drink Champagne and wear crazy shoes.

(You should see the cloakrooms at the IMechE before an RNA party. All that delighted removal of boots and donning of heels… )
