Party time

I’m bunking off later today to go to the RNA Summer Party in London. It’s always an exciting event and lots of my writer friends will be there. Tonight the RNA will also present the Joan Hessayon New Writers Award (which has fond memories for me since I was lucky enough to win it in 2007.) Good luck to all the contenders this year.

I’m meeting Nell for tea before the party and I wonder if it will be as eventful last year? I’m taking my current work in progress, Miranda, to edit on the train though I doubt I’ll get much done. 😉

When I get back it will be time to get ready for my blog tour to promote the US launch of Wish You Were Here. I’ve already got 11 dates – and there are more to come. I’ll be announcing the winning subscriber from my mailing list – who gets a signed copy of the book (just as soon as I get my own copies through the post!)

And on Friday May 20th, I’ll be guesting on DizzyC’s book blog – back soon, with photos if I remember my camera!
