Fever Cure launch week #3 – Rachel Lyndhurst
July 14, 2011
Before I introduce today’s guest blogger and her hot doctor, I just want to remind you that everyone who leaves a comment on the blog this week or subscribes to my newsletter will have the chance to win a PDF of Fever Cure, or one of my other books. So please say hi! You can also read an extract of the book HERE.
If you want to order Fever Cure direct from Samhain, click HERE – it’s available for just about any e reader and app you can think of from here!
Okay, I have a minxy guest on the blog today, talking about her hero doctor. It’s Rachel Lyndhurst, author of the gorgeous and very sexy Storm’s Heart, which I had the honour of reading as a manuscript.
I hope Rachel doesn’t mind me writing my own bio for her: basically she likes shoes and David Gandy and is Tiff Needell’s favourite stalker. I also hope she won’t sue me for that because she’s a qualified lawyer as well as a writer.
Guess what? Rachel also nominated a Doctor Jones as her hero…
Oh Indiana…
I’d like to nominate Dr. Henry Walton “Indiana” Jones, Jr., Ph.D.
Gorgeously nerdy and serious as a professor of archaeology, his alter ego couldn’t be more different. With his fedora, leather jacket and whip he’s a breathtaking hero with an sense of humour and deep knowledge of ancient civilisations. He always gets the girl and the treasure in the end, but he has a weakness that endears me; he can’t stand snakes.
Tomorrow, I have the awesome Nell Dixon on the blog…
Felicia Says:
Lovely choice!
Rachel Lyndhurst Says:
Ha! I like the stalker bit! I haven’t tracked down Mr Gandy yet, but I’m reckoning on the Festival of Speed at Goodwood next year. You’ll hear about it the minute it happens!
XX Loving Fever Cure so far!
Kiru Taye Says:

Just started FC and I’m hooked already!
Stevie Carroll Says:
That’s a great choice there. I do have a bit of a thing for any kind of archaeologist or anthropologist as a protagonist, particularly if they’re then placed in a completely unexpected situation.
Phillipa Says:
Hello Felicia and Fedora and Sarah. Harrison really was in his prime when he created Dr Jones, wasn’t he?
Hi Kiru – welcome to the blog!
Cindy – glad you’re hooked on Dr Tom and Keira.
Stevie – I’d love to write a book with an anthropologist hero/heroine.I do have an idea I’m toying with. 🙂
