Wish You Were Here

I’d like to share the jacket of my new hardback, Wish You Were Here, with you. It’s published on June 14th 2007. Here’s a pic – it’s an actual scan of the cover so excuse it being slightly messy – plus the jacket blurb. I can’t stop stroking the shiny, luscious cover. Sad really – but I just adore it.

Can a whirlwind romance ever go the distance?

When Jack proposes to Beth at the end of a holiday romance, she doesn’t think twice… she just knows he’s The One. It’s back to reality at home with a big thud though when Jack walks out soon after their return – no explanation, no nothing.

Eight years on and a twist of fate finds Beth a fantastic new job – working for Jack. She could definitely do without having to face the man who broke her heart every day but then she can’t do without this job. She’s just going to have to grin and bear it.

As Beth and Jack are forced to spend time together, Beth begins to unravel the mystery of Jack’s disappearance. But are they both carrying too much baggage to try again – or could they finally be in the right place at the right time?

   I got Decent Exposure for Christmas (all the way down here in Australia) and absolutely adored it! So I am so excited to see that a new book will be out this year! Can’t wait! And the cover IS gorgeous by the way!

   Rosy, Nell, Monica, Rachel and Tiffany – glad you all like it! It feels even nicer in the ‘flesh’ and it’s my first hard cover so very special. There will be a paperback out later in the year too. I’m going to post some more info about the setting of the book in a while.

   I am chuffed, especially as after ‘quite a bit’ (!)Of revising, I heard that the editor is really happy and there is no more work to do, so I guess it goes off to the copy editor now. Thanks Jess and Jude and everyone for your comments. I haven’t seen the paperback cover yet but i expect it will be pretty similar.
