The Great Kate
July 26, 2007
I’ve been given the honour of guest blogging over on Kate Walker’s 50th Book Blog Party. Please come and visit me there – drool over picture of Richard Armitage and win a copy of Wish You Were Here or Decent Exposure.
Kate has written 50 Presents romances for Harlequin Mills & Boon – a fantastic achievement to be celebrated in style.
There are lots of guest bloggers including Katie Fforde, Bernardine Kennedy, Amanda Grange, Julie Cohen and Liz Fielding.
PS Update 27/7/07: Calling any Richard Armitage fans. Apparently Richard is getting rather hot under the collar in his black leather Guy Of Gisborne oufit as there is a heatwave in Budapest where he is filming a new series of Robin Hood.
Fiona Harper Says:
Oo-er! now’s there’s a photo to get us hot and steamy first thing in the morning. Does that man smoulder or what?
Phillipa Says:
He does indeed, Fiona – and literally, if you read his message about the heatwave in Budapest!
Laura Vivanco Says:
It’s a great look, but I have my doubts about how authentic the costume is. It looks to me like a black leather version of a Regency greatcoat, complete with loosely tied neckcloth.
Phillipa Says:
Laura – this subject has been debated long and hard on the RA messageboards. 🙂 The whole show is totally tongue in cheek and it has even suggested that Marian was wearing a Primark cardi one week… It is, however, real leather, accoring to Richard.
Laura Vivanco Says:
I suppose real leather is somewhat more breathable than PVC, so he should be thankful for small mercies 😉
