We joined Amazon DVD rental recently and last night watched our second movie – Into the Blue – which was ordered by Miss B on account of it being a – action b – set in the Caribbean and c – featuring Paul Walker.
I don’t normally go for blond heroes but I decided to have one in the current book I’m writing and if I say so myself, he’s hot. At first I thought of him as Wentworth Miller-ish, but I’m afraid he’s now firmly fixed in my mind as Paul Walker. He spends most of the time wet, brooding and in board shorts or a wet suit ( the guy in Just Say yes, not Paul…)
Into the Blue is a fun film: not a great one but it has fabulous underwater scenes, sexy characters and a lot of action. Just what I need when my brain is whacked as it is every night these days. I just want entertainment!
Sally Lawton Says:
Oh my good God… I can’t stop staring at the photo!
There’s no wonder I can never get any work done!!

Jessica Raymond Says:
Mmm, well picked! He’s the model for my hero, Noah, in A TASTE OF SUMMER 🙂

Phillipa Says:
What good taste you both have.
Jess – I have A Taste of Summer on the TBR pile by my bed. And as you know, I dare not read it until I’ve handed over my book which, like AToS is also set in Cornwall.
Jessica Raymond Says:
I can’t wait to read yours, Pip. I love Cornwall 🙂 You can have fun imagining Paul W. when you get around to reading mine!

Ray-Anne Says:
Paul Walker. Now you are talking. 😉 Have you seen him in Eight Below? The heroes are the huskies he has to leave behind in the snow, who [ sniff] saved his life and are his best pals. [ sniff]. But Mr Walker does a fine job. Recommended Disney family viewing.
Ray-Anne Says:
I am a great fan of the Amazon DVD scheme by the way – my method of seeing movies I would not normally go/drag the DH to see at the cinema. Their huge range is terrific.
Phillipa Says:
Ray-Anne – yes I have seen 8 Below. Not sure who’s cuter: the dogs or Paul. We’ve got that one in permanent collection. 🙂 My dd and i chose 5 DVDS each. We ahd the Guardian first: Ashton Kutcher and Kevin Costner. it was okayy… more wetsuits/swimming/rescues. I really need therapy!
