Revisions

August 27, 2007

I don’t have any right now as I’m still writing the first draft of Just Say Yes but if I did, this would be a brilliant comfort:

    Thanks for the links 🙂

  2. Sally Lawton Says:

The links were great, very useful. I’m doing revisions at the moment, so thanks.

Just wanted to say that I finished reading Decent Exposure yesterday. I read it in two days flat and LOVED it.
I’ve posted a mini review on my blog.
    It’s a truly wonderful book.

Sally – I just read it and wow. That’s *really* kind of you. 🙂 Glad you enjoyed it.

  4. Sally Lawton Says:

No problem Phillipa, I loved it, loved it, loved it! I think I may have fallen in love with Will myself!

  5. Kate Hardy Says:

Thank you for the link, Pip – thoroughly enjoyable. (You may have just added someone else to my TBR bookcase…) :o)

  6. Phillipa Says:

Sally, Kate & Liz – My dd reads Meg Cabot’s blog because she loves her books and also because she often reads advice that she knows will comfort me in my ‘dark’ writing moments. 🙂

Over the winter I had some extensive revisions for the first time. Meg Cabot’s blog suggested approaching them as you would if you had to eat an elephant … start with the tail and slowly munch your way through, piece by piece. One day, you’ll find you’ve swallowed the whole thing.

That book is published this week and people seem to be enjoying it so far. In the end, I did eat the elephant though I really didn’t like the taste at the time!
