A touch too much? Ahem…

December 4, 2007

Just showed Miss B the opening of ISHBM which has a non-dialogue opening for the first time ever (for now anyway).

She laughed a lot but as my sternest and fairest critic, told me that having a Maid Marian and Sheriff of Nottingham on top of a wedding cake was a step too far for the reader to accept. Wah!

Should the Sheriff stay or should he go?

On that note, Richard Armitage has sent a message to his fans about a ‘top secret’ project. Sounds very intriguing. I wonder if it’s Spooks? Or Bond? So gratuitous excuse number 101 to use a pic of GoG – who really is the inspiration for Matt, the hero of ISHBM. The pic is from the BBC Children in Need site via www.richardarmitageonline.com. I can just see Maid Marian and the Sheriff on top of a wedding cake! What fun!!

And I’m afraid I’ve just tagged you! Sorry!!

  2. Nell Dixon Says:

My brother and sister in law had a castle for a cake with Mr Men and little Misses all over it for their wedding so I have no prob with a sheriff and maid marian

Chrisina dn Nell: then he might stay! It suits the character but Ms B’s right to be cautious. I do go OTT sometimes. Ahem. I shall try and do the meme or part of it at least if I dare break off from ISHBM. Px
