Big sigh
January 4, 2008
At last! I’m on my way with my new book and it’s such a relief. I don’t know how long it will last but whew, I’m feeling the love a bit more now. 🙂
If you’re interested in weird things, I’ve put a new photo up on my ‘About’ page which was taken by a lovely man who won the Newspaper Society’s Weekly Press Photographer of the Year 2007. His pic shows me hard at work in my usual writing spot. I like to create my books wearing full make-up, while wearing a tight pink top and breathing in very very hard.
PS Has anyone any thoughts on the &**!!!* ending to the Robin Hood series?

Ah Phillipa, what a lovely photo.
As for Robin Hood. I hated the ending and although I did shed a tear, I thought the acting from Maid Marion at the end was terrible. I had to laugh when she pulled the sword out and said ‘Ah, that feels better.’
Glad you’re in to the swing of things with your new book 🙂

I love the photo–is that your garden/backyard/whatever you call it over there? Simply beautiful!
I don’t know if we have Robin Hood over here, but if so, I haven’t seen it. I should, in fact, be trying to ‘feel the love’ on my own book!

Hurrah for the book progress!
I love the photo — you look really natural and comfortable 🙂 Is that your garden? It’s beautiful.
I don’t watch Robin Hood. What happened?
Happy New Year,

RH-I wasn’t suprised at the ending. There have been lots of rumours that LG wanted out.It will be interesting to see what they do in the next series. It could be brilliant & the series end on a high, but I’m not holding my breath

Hi there. I hate having my photo taken anyway but the family said it was one of the better ones of me so I finally used it. Allan, the ‘snapper’, is very kind to me. 🙂
It’s in the sitting room looking out over our garden – last year on a wet summer’s day. We are not gardeners at all – not like many Brits who have amazing gardens – but we filled out patch with flowering shrubs and tubs of bedding plants. There are open fields at the bottom. It’s real mess if you look closer – only my FIL helps us keep it looking nice.
Ray Anne – That Jigsaw top …I quite like that top but it is a bit daring. Tee hee 🙂
Sally, Elllen – Yes I really didn’t like the ending to RH . I liked Marian and can’t see where the emotional conflict will come from now.
