June 16, 2008

Well, I heard back from my agent on my latest, ISHBM (March 2009) and she suggested the odd tweak but on the whole, hurrah (I’m in a puddle of relief on the floor to be honest and think I might have to go out shopping to recover.)

I’ll leave you with a picture of my hero inspiration for ISHBM. After seven months of angst writing this one, I think I can allow myself a treat!

   Thanks for the lovely comments. Yes, I think it was Liz Fielding who described wrestling certain books to the ground. Still twiddling this afternoon but all good stuff now. Only my ed’s verdict to come… quiver but for now I live to fight another day. 🙂

    Well done, Phillipa! And now there’s the next book to look forward to. (Not a hint of sarcasm there- honest!) Writing books really is like giving birth and you can never predict how difficult the labour will be, but here’s hoping for pain free next time.
