I’d forgotten how hard it was to start a book. 🙂

Especially when being distracted by this – a video of the BBC’s new autumn drama schedule including Little Dorrit, Tess of the D’Urbervilles, Merlin and er… the new Spooks starring you-know-who.

   Just to spur you on,Pippa.I went to the drop-in surgery at my GP’s on Monday[got tennis elbow through gardening]I took ‘Just Say Yes’with me,as there can be a long wait sometimes.I was reading away,when one of the other patients,noticed my book & asked what the story was like,as she’d read two of your other books.I said it was really good so far,& she said she would get it ,as she’d really enjoyed your other books.Your fame is spreading.[Need a thumbsup smiley here]

   I am reading Decent Exposure – I have wanted to for ages as I was intrigued by the comment of a ‘cracking first line’ written in the review of winning the Joan Hessyan award. And I agree it is great, the whole book is and I would like Will to move in here with me. Just don’t tell my husband…

   It’s a really good book and I can’t wait to get my hands on the next one (book that is not bloke) so happy writing :.)
