Two very pretty pics.

They’re both pics from The Lake District. The first is taken in the woods near Ambleside this weekend. The second is from possibly my all-time favourite contemporary drama, The Lakes – a very gritty and controversial BBC series showing the dark side of a small Lakeland community.

Now if I could just write something that combined Jill Mansell with Jimmy McGovern or Katie Fforde with Paul Abbott (who wrote State of Play and Clocking Off), I’d be a very happy woman.

I’ve been all over the place this week: from the Lakes to London, back to the Midlands and off to Oxford later for a college ‘guest’ dinner with Mr and Ms Bennet. It’s all go at the moment, with a major commercial project in progress. I LOVE being busy.
