We spent the weekend in Oxford and I got very excited when we saw this man waiting at a crossing.

It’s English actor, Tom Ward, from Silent Witness. I didn’t believe it was him until I looked him up on wiki and found out he lives in Oxford.

   Well, I never see anyone famous these days – not even in London where my friends are always spotting people. The only ‘celeb’ I ever saw was Govt minister, David Milliband – and my agent had to point him out! Mind you I did ask Tracy Chevalier ‘if she was in publishing’ at the PEN quiz last year! She was very very sweet about it!

   Did you run up to Tom and tell him I and all my friends text each other like mad whenever he’s appearing on CBeebies reading the bedtime story so we can all ogle??

   I saw Daniel Radcliffe in Selfridge’s once. And I nearly touched Damon Albarn’s bum, but my husband stopped me. Spoilsport.
