Good luck, Ms Bennet
May 23, 2009
This is a proud parental moment. I’m sending every good vibe in the world to my daughter, Ms Bennet, who is taking her final exams at university this week.
My daughter has worked hard for three years at uni and for many years at school to get where she wants to be and if she gets her grades, she’ll be off to another uni to do her PhD.
Apparently, cats are considered very lucky in Japan, as in many places in the world. Read the legend of Maneki Neko here and the story of the cat who saved a station here.
And good luck to all of you out there who are taking exams or waiting for results!
PS Read about our local Cats Protection branch – run by our friend, Jan, here.
Debs Says:
Very best of luck to Miss Bennett. J will be off to university in September – assuming he gets the grades – and I think it’s worrying me much more than him.
Tam Says:
Oh, very good luck to your little girl. I’m sure she’ll do you and herself proud.
Phillipa Says:
Not so little, Tam!
Debs – I’m not anxious as Ms B is a very big girl indeed now. A levels are different but I stil wish your son and Mine – and everyone doing exams – all the best.
