Enjoying the view…

Yes, I’ve just got back from a manic weekend of tennis and shopping in London. We went to the ATP Tour Finals at the O2 Arena, arriving by riverboat a la James Bond. Saw two matches including Rafa Nadal, who sadly, didn’t win. The Arena is awesome but I nearly freaked out when I saw our seats – they were almost up in the roof and you know how I hate heights. Then Mr Bennet revealed to me that the tickets did give a warning – in teeny tiny print – that Level 4 was ‘unsuitable for people with vertigo’. Never mind, the outstanding tennis and hunky Rafa took my mind off things.

Yesterday we met up with Ms Bennet in Oxford Street. It was completely manic and I don’t mind saying we spent a lot of time in John Lewis restaurant, eating and drinking and watching the crowds below. I did get some shopping, however and now, at last, I finally feel that Christmas is on its way.

And whaddaya know. Just when things might be ramping down, workwise, they’re revving up. I’m out on business this week, have lots of copywriting and a wip (rough draft, finished) to edit by Christmas.
