For US Readers

June 14, 2010

I’ve added a new tab to the website For US Readers which, quel surprise, is designed to keep readers in the US up to date with all my latest book releases, reviews etc and links on where to buy the book.

There will definitely be giveaways and contests later in the year ready for the publication of Dating Mr December on November 1st. And yes, I’m excited, but I really don’t want to be thinking of autumn days yet. Haven’t even had a summer yet… but if you have a romance blog site, and would like to be added to a list for a possible review copy, just email me through this site.

You can already preorder the book from Barnes and Noble and Amazon.com, among others.

    Phillipa dear,

It was great to finally meet you last week. It’s so hard being back in the doldrums of real life though. I’m very excited for you that your books are getting released for the US market, but why do they have to change the titles? Having read and loved all four books so far, I don’t understand the need to change anything for the purpose of US marketing. They’re not changing any of the actual content, are they? This publishing business is a mystery to me.

It was great to meet you and hear your adventures in NYC in particular. I must use that in a book one day.:)
Yes, publishers work in mysterious ways, however, SB so far have been brilliant in terms of enthusiasm for my work and proactive ways of telling everyone about DE/DMD.

My favourite book as a child was Sally’s Family by Gwendoline Courtney. I read it in a day which was a real feat as being Dyslexic my reading speed is the equivilant of an audio tape. I still love to re-read the book.
If you ever visit Poole the Sunseaker showroom and factory have luxury boats we can only dream about. Might help with your research.

  4. Phillipa Says:

Hi Janet – I don’t know that book.WIll have to chevck it out, especially as it inspired you to read despite the Dyslexia.

Ah.. Sunseekers… I’ve been on a Fairline once, on Lake Windermere, but I’d love to visit an actual factory. Didn’t know it was in Poole. I can dream… 🙂
