It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Now that my ‘official’ blog tour for Dating Mr December has ended, I’ve been feeling a bit flat – even though this is the time when people are buying it! I blame a delayed reaction to the burglary and a post-tour slump. Then I realised -eek – Christmas is less than three weeks away. To cheer myself up, I:

1. Had a really good reading splurge. In fact since the tour ended, I’ve read three books in a week – all romances.

2. Finished my present buying

3. Started writing my cards and posted some parcels

4. Went swimming in the outdoor pool in the snow. Fantastic (and yes, it is heated)

5. Had an Amaretto Latte from Cafe Nero’s Festive menu. Yum.

6. Thought about tidying up my daughter’s room after the burglary (an’t say that you’d really know it had been ransacked but…) as she’s coming home next week for the holidays.

7. Made up the spare room instead just in case!

8. Ordered turkey (or rather asked my mum to) and checked with rest of family on their contributions to Christmas dinner

9. Went to a Lee Mead Christmas Concert – a surprise from Mr B

10. Uploaded our photos of the Lakes in the snow from earlier this year. This is our flat – where Dating Mr December is set.

So are you ready yet? Or do you still have loads to do?

   GASP! I haven’t booked Sainsbury’s van yet! I haven’t done anything yet! Not even had a shower!
