Happy Christmas!

December 21, 2010

Well, it’s almost here. My daughter arrived home for Christmas at the weekend, in between the snowfalls. Last night we went to meet some Texan friends in Stratford on Avon. I’m not sure how we managed to get home, so much snow had fallen while we were in the restaurant though the town looked beautiful (thanks to Leah and John for the photo.)

I’ve got a few more presents to wrap and cards to post and it’s time to thinkfood! Tomorrow, we’re off to shop for our Christmas Day dinner. Both sets of parents are coming to our house so there will be seven of us round the table. We’ll have the traditional meal with roast turkey plus all the ‘trimmings’ and Christmas pudding for afterwards – and crackers, of course. The BBC food website has some wonderful recipes and I’ll probably dig out my Nigella Christmas or Delia Christmas books and get cooking.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped and supported me through the year and wish you all a Happy Christmas and a Peaceful New Year

We have the big turkey dinner plus all the trimmings – even if it hits 100 degrees outside! It just wouldn’t feel like Christmas otherwise 🙂

    Rachel – you too!

    Christina – 100 degrees…oh if only… 🙂

Hope you have a wonderful time this Christmas and that 2011 is all that you wish it to be. x
