Juggling in London
February 23, 2011
I’ve been juggling…
I’ve had the US final proofs for Wish You Were Here to approve and detailed Cover Art and Cover Copy forms for Fever Cure
What kind of cover do I want? What kind of man on it? Any and all suggestions welcome. 🙂
I whizzed to London yesterday on RNA business which was fun. 🙂 I also met my agent at a lovely bistro in Covent Garden. As it was teatime, we had a Champagne afternoon tea to celebrate the Samhain and Brief Encounters book deal. There were cakes, scones, sandwiches, tarte au citron and a new type of tea called Tregothan Earl Grey – which I think is the first tea grown in England (in Cornwall.)
I carried away three goodie bags of cake for Mr Bennet…slightly squashed by the time I got back home but he’s taken some to work.
Today and tomorrow are devoted to client’s commercial writing projects.
Will all my balls stay in the air this year?
Debs Carr Says:
Now that sounds like my idea of a fun day. I could just do with a slice of tarte au citron right now.
Rachel Lyndhurst Says:
Delighted to help you with all those *balls* in any way possible, Phillipa… *snigger*
London sounds divine, but lovely to see you back.

Phillipa Says:
Thanks guys – I shall be calling, never fear. I’ve just been having a fab time, looking at some gorgeous Samhain covers – swoon and thud. 🙂
Bernadette Says:
Hi Philippa
Just wanted to thank you for the copy of ‘Dating Mr December’ that I won in your blog draw and to say how much I enjoyed reading it. I have spent many a happy holiday in the Lake District and it brought back a lot of good memories (though none of them containing such a dish as Will unfortunately!)
Good luck with the juggling and I will look forward to reading more of your books soon.
Phillipa Says:
Hi Bernadette – thanks for dropping by the blog – glad you enoyed Mr December and Will.
As you can see,, there are plenty more to come this year. 🙂
