Congratulations Kate and Will

I’ve been away hiking and surfing in Devon but more on that story later… today is all about Will and Kate, or the new Duke and Duchess of Cambridge as they are known.

I’m sitting here in my pyjamas, watching the guests arrive at the Abbey and feeling far more excited that I thought I would.

So Congratulations, William and Kate – hope to post a pic of The Dress later.

   I said I wouldn’t cry, but I did!(Him Indoors cracked first though). And two kisses!

   Did you see Wills rubbing Kate’s hand as they went under the tunnel at Horseguards? That was one of the highlights for me.

   I watched it all, and cried, several times. I thought she looked so beautiful and her dress was very similar to the one my mother wore in the 60s. My son is at uni and they’ve been eating peaches and cream and drinking Pimms. It’s good to know they’re celebrating too.

   I cried too – especially when her dad held her hand so tight. I don’t know how he held it together. What a wonderful happy occasion. 🙂
