This is the shortest Happy New Year post ever from me in between preparing a Boeuf Bourginonne and Delia’s braised red cabbage and apples for tonight. I’ve gone cold turkey on the Internet while my family have been home – it’s been so fantastic to have them here for a couple of weeks.

Tonight, I’m staying home with Mr B and a bottle of Champagne.:)

So, wherever you are in the world, I hope you have a very Happy New Year and a healthy and successful 2012!

PS I’ve had some really lovely reviews for Carrie goes off the Map including a Five Star Royal Read award from Royal Reviews, but I’ll share them all next week. Until then, party on!
