My news at last – signed with Piatkus Entice
April 27, 2012
I think it’s okay now to share my good news: I’ve signed a two-book deal with Piatkus Entice and the first novel is out in October 2012.
It’s called Miranda’s Mount and it’s a warm and funny contemporary romance, a bit longer than my previous books and I hope you’re going to LOVE IT!
Sorry – a bit over excited…
The book’s not on Amazon or other sites yet but there’s more about the imprint here on the Piatkus website and I’ll share more details as soon as I have them.
Have a great weekend – I will!

Congratulations! I haven’t heard of the publisher – it’s an unusual name.
Phillipa Says:
They’ve been around for ages, Agenoria and are owned by Little Brown.
agenoria Says:
Sorry, it’s that as a reader rather than a writer, I take more notice of authors than publishers. I couldn’t tell without looking what label a lot of my CDs are on either.
Felicia Says:
Congratulations! Looking forward to October.
Phillipa Says:
Agenoria – it confuses authors too! Piatkus aren’t new but Entice is…
Liz Fenwick Says:

Phillipa Says:
Hi Rachel – I thought of that title at the start and the eds loved it and thought it was funny and cheeky… so it’s stuck (blush!) It does work on ahem, several levels…
Phillipa Says:
Hi Stevie – yes, I’m really happy to have joined them. 🙂
Chanpreet Says:
Congratulations Phillipa! I can’t wait until October! Will it be published in paperback and e-book formats?
Phillipa Says:
Chanpreet – hello …thank you… it will out as an e-book, there may be print at some point but Entice is a digital-first imprint so I’m recommending everyone to get the e-book.
Chanpreet Says:
Thanks for letting me know! Hopefully it’ll be available to American readers as well! 🙂
Phillipa Says:
I’m sure it will be, Chanpreet. Will be posting news as soon as I know.
