Ta da! Amazon has It Should Have Been Me in stock and in fact, is sending out copies now. Thanks to Liz who has told me that both ISHBM and Nell’s Animal Instincts are currently high in the Hot Future Releases chart. 🙂

ISHBM is about a road trip and a journey to self discovery for the jilted heroine, Carrie. The story is set around the coast of Devon and Cornwall, in some of the most stunning areas of south west England. Today I’m going to post some pictures of some of the places that Carrie and her travelling companion, Matt, visit in their vintage VW camper van, Dolly.

This is the ruggedly handsome (!) North Devon coastline.

Mr Bennet and I hired a van called Bill to do our journey. Here it is parked above Croyde Bay (a famous Devon surfing beach.)

This the Tate Gallery in the Cornish fishing village/resort of St Ives

Another pic of the amazing Minack Theatre where some revelations take place.

This is the Turf Tavern, Oxford – an old haunt from my student days. Carrie’s journey starts here when she finds out something that turns her life upside down again.

Tomorrow, I’m hoping to have a very special guest author – one of my absolute favourite writers – join in the blog party. But today she has a book to deliver. Fingers crossed.

I’ll also be posting an excerpt from the second chapter – but you can read chapter one here now.

    Nell. 🙂

Tam – lucky you. If I ever won the lottery, I’d buy a place on Cornwall and invite all my friends to stay. I can dream..
